Remote Bookkeeper

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, well organized and proficient in bookkeeping. This individual will be responsible for overseeing and managing client files on-site and remotely. This would entail full cycle bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, preparing reports and conducting other tasks related to finance. They should be excellent at recording data and have the ability to produce clear financial reports with analysis. Other duties include, but not limited to: administration, organizing projects, filing documents, and responding to emails.

Some specific Duties:

  • Preparing Journal entries

  • Accounts Payable/ Receivable transactions

  • HST and PSB filings and bank reconciliations

  • Prepare reports with analytical comments

  • Setting up wires and recording deposits

  • Tracking expenses,

  • monitoring budgets

  • Producing Income statements, Balance sheets, and cash flow reports

  • Process employee expense reports and payroll

  • Prep Corporate and Personal Taxes

  • Assist with other administrative tasks

 

Job Type: Part-time

Experience:

  • QuickBooks: 1 year (Required)

  • Bookkeeping: 2 years (Required)

 

Licence:

  • QBO (Required)
