Lotoya Mahorn structures her practice around personal and small business clients. Individual clients come to Lotoya for strategic tax planning and long-term financial and investment strategies. She offers many years of experience applying tax strategies to business operations. Her extensive knowledge of tax laws, accounting and profit planning is an asset to clients with an interest in estate and succession planning.
Lotoya holds an Economics Bachelor’s degree from York University, Diploma in Business Administration, and a certificate in Bookkeeping.
Lotoya is also a Quickbooks Pro advisor for desktop and online, a member of Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario and Canada (CPA), Certified General Accountants of Ontario and Canada (CGA), Canadian Institute of Bookkeeping (CB), and Canadian Payroll Association (CPA).
Lotoya is currently the Finance Advisor for Church of God of Prophecy in Durham Region and also sits on their Board of Trustees.
She also gives back to her community by volunteering on a biweekly basis at a local food bank.
Her clientele is wide-ranging and includes e-commerce, marketing, food services, fitness consultation, automotive repair and the not-for-profit sector.
